20th Century Faux
20th Century Faux is a series of sixteen comedy short films co-created with director Jake Bradbury, shot one film at a time. Each film was conceived and completed in a single day. Born out of the creative restlessness that comes with working long hours in the industry and never quite having time to make your own thing, the project was a deliberate bet on spontaneity over preparation. Whatever crew was available, whatever resources were on hand, that was the movie.
What emerged was a loose ensemble of recurring collaborators and a recurring set of themes: modern loneliness, the absurdity of staying connected in a world that still feels isolating, and the dark comedy of life lived in the margins of a demanding career. The films brought in millions of views on YouTube.
